Here I’ve built a default project which you may like to work with. Hopefully it simplifies the workflow in Clarisse and makes it easy to see what is going on. I go over it here, trying to explain the benefits, and how it’s put together.

 Scopes:

This video is intended to give you enough knowledge to be able to setup and use a scope in Clarisse, as well as providing an overview of where they came from, and why you might use one.

Groups:

This video provides a quick overview of groups in Clarisse - showing both manual assignments, and rule based assignments. Additionally I go over features such as the exclusion rules, and how you would use those.

Combiners:

This video provides an overview of combiners in Clarisse. Here I go over what they are, how to assign things to them, and where the lighting controls are. Additionally there is a workflow suggestion, to help you get started with your own setup.

Material Linker:

This video provides an overview of the material linker. Here I'll briefly show you some of the ways that you can apply materials, but focus on giving a solid overview of the material linker and how you would use it.

Cryptomatte:

This video is to provide an overview of how to generate cryptomatte aov's out of Clarisse, as well as instructions on how to install the cryptomatte gizmos in Nuke, and then finally how to use those gizmos, with the render, to get crytomatte working in Nuke.

Shading Layers:

This video is to provide an overview of Shading Layers in Clarisse, as well as a guide on how to use them.
