James Miller is an Environment Artist, currently working for Dreamworks Animation in Los Angeles. James has also worked on live action films, on franchises such as Star Wars, The Hunger Games, and Avengers, for both ILM and Double Negative. It’s this practical, tried and tested knowledge, as a Generalist Artist, that he wishes to share first hand. Showing how tasks are approached on a daily basis, and what elements are involved. It’s his hope to create the type of learning resource he wished he could have had while starting out, and hopefully one that additionally contains something useful for all levels of experience. Through sharing what we know, we can all become better artists.
